SereneMind Job Advertisement (Therapists)

Position Overview

SereneMind is seeking counsellors, psychologists, therapists, and social workers to join our growing practice. You will provide therapeutic support to individuals, couples, and families, alongside psychological assessments, depending on training.

This role is ideal for practitioners who value autonomy, continuity of care, and a community that prioritises immediate access to support, weekly sessions, and human-centred practice. You’ll have the flexibility to shape your caseload while benefiting from shared resources, supervision, and a professional environment designed to help you do your best work.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Work:
  • Provide individual, couple, or family counselling using evidence-based interventions.
  • Co-develop goals and treatment plans; review progress collaboratively.
  • Maintain timely case notes, documentation, and referral coordination.
  • Uphold strong ethical boundaries, confidentiality, and record management.
  • Conduct psychological assessments for a variety of populations(where applicable).
Client Experience & Practice Operations:
  • Offer both in-person and/or online sessions based on your preference.
  • Maintain consistent client engagement, alongside booster sessions (where appropriate).
  • Participate in case discussions, peer consults, and reflective practice.
  • Contribute to resource and database (e.g., short articles, group sessions, or workshops) (optional).
Professional Development & Community:
  • Attend supervision, continuous professional development learning opportunities, and case discussions.
  • Share practice updates and collaborate with the team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in practice-wide connection events, knowledge exchanges, and networking opportunities (optional).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification in psychology, counselling, social work, or any other related field.
  • Two or more years of experience in mental-health or client-support settings preferred.
  • Accreditation or eligibility with SAC, SPS/SRP, or equivalent professional body is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Digital literacy and comfort using telehealth and documentation systems.
